Mahesh Poudel is a Forest Officer working for the Government of Nepal. He holds a degree in Forestry from Tribhuvan University and has worked with several conservation non-profits in research and conservation. During his Fellowship, he is researching human-leopard conflict outside of protected areas in Gorkha District to identify ways of reducing conflict and retaliatory killings.
